On September 25, 2019, in Center, Texas at around 1:22 p.m., there was a power outage that was caused due to a downed power pole on Lousiana Street. 

 

 

 

Truck Wrecks into Telephone Pole on Lousiana Street

 

An older white male identified as Donald E. Cohenour 72 of Jefferson was driving a dark-colored Chevy Silverado pickup truck and crashed into a telephone pole near Dr. Golden's Eye Clinic on Lousiana Street in Center, Texas, no fatalities were observed on the scene. According to the Center Police Department, Cohenour believed that he fell asleep behind the wheel and reported waking up after the crash.
