A reception honoring Judge Guy W. Griffin will be held 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., this Thursday, in the Shelby County Courthouse Community Room. The reception is to celebrate Judge Griffin’s 16 years of service. He’s leaving the123rd Judicial District bench the first of the year. Everyone is invited to attend.
