There will be a retirement reception for two Shelby County employees from 1 to 3 p.m. this afternoon at the Shelby County tax office in the courthouse. Tax Assessor-Collector Janie Graves, is retiring after almost 22 years, and tax-office employee, Tamie Warren, who has served as Chief Deputy, is retiring after almost 20 years. They’re asking no gifts please!
