On August 21, 2019, Louisiana State Probation and Parole performed a standard probation check at a residence in Gloster, LA that resulted in the arrest of two individuals.  Upon making contact with the parolee at the door, Probation and Parole observed a smell and haze of suspected methamphetamine coming from inside the residence.  At that time the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division was notified and responded to the residence to assist.  Steven Ray Cloud (W/M - DOB: 05/22/1986) and Tyler Michael Dushane (W/M - DOB: 12/19/1994) were both detained as a search of the residence proceeded. 

 

Agents were able to locate a fully functional methamphetamine laboratory containing 124 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, and various other types of drug paraphernalia.  Cloud and Dushane were arrested and transported to the DeSoto Parish Detention Center where they were booked on the following charges:

Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute
Possession of Schedule I
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory
Probation Violation

Tyler Michael Dushane:
Creation or Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory
