At around 12:30 p.m. on August 19, 2019, there was a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in front of the Walmart located on Hurst Street in Center, TX.
Nissan Rogue
According to the Center Police Department Officer King. A white Nissan Rouge was traveling northbound on Hurst Street, driven by LaToya Wallace of Shreveport, LA with a passenger Angelina Smart of Benton, LA, when a blue Ford Explorer driven by Ruth Duke of Center pulled out of the Center Walmart parking lot and failed to yield the right of way which caused the accident.
Ford Explorer
LaToya Wallace and Angelina Smart were transported for treatment by Allegiance Mobile Health. Ruth Duke refused medical treatment or evaluation. No other vehicles or people were involved, no fatalities occurred.
The Center Fire Department, Center Police Department, Shelby County Sheriff's Office and Allegiance Mobile Health all responded to the scene of the wreck. Law enforcement and the Fire Department performed traffic control, while the vehicles were towed away.

The dark blue Ford Explorer was towed away by Hughes Wrecker Service and the white Nissan Rouge was hauled off by Hopkins Wrecker Service.
