Parker Chase, the 12-year-old daughter of Leah and Brian Chase, of Center, was recently placed on the liver transplant list. Parker was diagnosed with Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis Type II when she was 9 months old.
Friends and Family of Parker’s ARMY are hosting a fundraiser to help the family with expenses they will incur before, during and after Parker’s transplant.
A BBQ benefit luncheon is set for Aug. 16 at Raymond Motor Company in Center. Lunches will include a chicken leg quarter, prepared by Nutt 5 BBQ, baked beans, potato salad and dessert for $10. Raffle tickets are available for $25 each or five (5) for $100.
