On August 12, 2019, at the John D. Windham Civic Center in Center, Texas a large crowd gathered composed of students, teachers, law enforcement, and concerned citizens to learn more about a difficult subject to discuss, child abuse.

Guest speaker Kevin McNeil shared his life story his career and his story of abuse and how he worked as a detective to lock away the abusers and now works to help those who have been abused. It was humorous, touching, sad, and educational.
