Timpson Collegiate Center News – Timpson ISD is proud to announce our newest opportunity.  We will be offering an EMT course the upcoming school year.  The Emergency Medical Technologies Program prepares students to work in a variety of health care facilities as Emergency Medical Technicians. Upon successful completion of the course and NREMT testing, certified personnel can find employment with EMS services, hospitals, and safety personnel in the oil and gas industry, and fire departments. Students may find themselves at an advantage for employment with many agencies when certified as EMT and many times with schedules that allow a student to work and attend college. EMT programs can prepare those looking to enter other health fields after college or continue to succeed in Paramedic programs. Emergency Medical technician is an exciting field where each day offers new challenges. The program teaches you many lifesaving skills, required for the fast-advancing world of EMS (Emergency Medical Services).

Please email or call if interested in becoming a certified EMT.
