Parker's Army Benefit

Parker Chase, the 12 year-old daughter of Leah and Brian Chase, of Center, was recently placed on the liver transplant list. Parker was diagnosed with Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis Type II when she was 9 months-old.

Friends and Family of Parker’s ARMY are hosting a fundraiser to help the family with expenses they will incur before, during and after Parker’s transplant.

A BBQ benefit luncheon is set for Aug. 16 at Raymond Motor Company in Center. Lunches will include a chicken leg quarter, prepared by Nutt 5 BBQ, baked beans, potato salad and dessert for $10. Pre-order is preferred to ensure that we have enough for everyone. To place an order or to obtain an order form, contact Joanna Birdwell at 936-591-4328. Orders will be available for pickup between 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Raffle tickets are available for $25 each or five (5) for $100. Prices include: Jet Stream 230 Portacool; Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM, or $1,300.00 cash; and a Diamondback Elite 6.5 Grendel Flat Back Earth w/Bipod. Scope: Vortex Diamondback 416x44 First Focal Plane. To purchase raffle tickets, contact Lisa Hailey at 936-590-0896.

Parker’s ARMY t-shirts will also be available for purchase the day of the benefit. Adult size small through XL are available for $20 each.

Monetary donations can be made at American State Bank (formerly Texas State Bank) to Parker’s ARMY Benefit Account.

We appreciate your support and prayers for this family.
