With the passage of the cold front this morning, there were a couple of storm related incidents being reported by the National Weather Service, most coming with the thunderstorms Sunday afternoon that preceded the actual front. One-inch hail was reported 10 miles west of Center around 5:30 Sunday, in addition to several trees being blown down near Aiken. Around the same time, just north of that location on Farm-to-Market Road 95, thunderstorm wind damage blew several trees onto the roadway, some 5 miles south of Garrison. A severe thunderstorm warnings were issued by the weather service during this time for Shelby, Nacogdoches and Panola Counties.
