Structure fire on Sandel Street

 

 

There was a fire that occurred at around 9 a.m. on June 25, 2019, at 105 Sandel Street in Center, Texas near the intersection of Sandel and Nacogdoches Streets a shed caught fire, the Center Fire Department quickly responded and put out the fire and prevented it from spreading to the surrounding buildings. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office also responded.

The last units with the Center Fire Department left at approximately 10:15 a.m. The Center Police Department started an investigation regarding the fire. According to the Center Fire Chief Keith Byndom, a threating note was found by the resident of the home. According to a resident of the home, the note stated You Will Burn and was misspelled. The note was found about two weeks prior to the fire occurring. The resident did not save the note. More to follow as it becomes available.
