Here’s a look at the high school football playoffs involving our local teams:

The 6-4 Tenaha Tigers will play 7-4 Overton at 2 p.m. this afternoon in Beckville in a Class A, Div. II area game. The winner meets the Hubbard-Bremond game winner, that’s being played tonight in Waco.

The 10-0 Joaquin Rams take on 10-1 Bosqueville at 7 p.m. tonight in Palestine in a Class A, Div. I area-round game. The winner will advance on to play the winner of the Hull-Daisetta-Alto game that’s being played at 2 p.m. today in Lufkin.

Center Broadcasting will have live coverage of the Rams on Q-100 KQBB FM, as Don Wall describes the action from Palestine. The action will also be streaming at cbc-radio.com.

In another Class A, Division I second round game, the 8-2 San Augustine Wolves, play 6-5 Axtell at 7:30 tonight in Crockett. The winner has the Mart-West Sabine winner, a game being played at 6 p.m. Saturday in Palestine.

In the Class 2A, Division II playoffs, the 8-3 Garrison Bulldogs will play 10-0 Centerville at 7 tonight in Bullard. The winner has the winner of the Hughes Springs-Hearne game that’s being played at 7 p.m. tonight at SFA.
