NACOGDOCHES,TX (May 6, 2019)  On Monday morning Officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department responded to the Dollar General located in the 4300 block of  S.E. Stallings Dr after receiving a call from an employee stating a syringe with an unknown substance was found stuck into a food product on the previous day. 

 

Employees advised that after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday May 5th several unidentified subjects came into the store and began acting suspiciously.  The employee advised that after the subjects left the store products were discovered damaged and she found a syringe with an unknown substance had been stuck into a pack of "Cup of Noodles".

 

Employees advised the items believed to have been tampered with were immediately removed from the shelves.  On Monday afternoon further items were located that also appeared to have been tampered with.  Those items were also immediately removed from the shelves.  Police are asking that anyone that purchased food items during this time from this location be cautious and thoroughly inspect before consuming them.
