At their meeting last night, the Tenaha City Council received the report from the city’s auditor on the audit of fiscal year 2011 thru 2012; heard from committee recommendations for the new city hall; received a report from the Shelby County Groundwater District; and decided to pursue cleanup of illegal dumping site, encompassed by Hwy. 59 at Roy Berry Street and Martin Luther King. The Tenaha Council has also agreed to help Natalie Harris find a place for operation of 5 Loaves/2 Fish Program.
