Dana Harris, Texas Interagency Coordination Center (TICC) dispatcher, has been named Southern Area Dispatcher of the Year for the Southern Region of the U.S. Forest Service. Making the presentation is Jim Crooks, Operations Staff Officer for the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas. TICC, located in Hudson, is a cooperative effort of the U.S. Forest Service, Texas A&M Forest Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Texas Parks & Wildlife and the Nature Conservancy that coordinates Texas agencies response to disaster relief efforts across the U.S.
