It’s the final week of the high school football regular season, and Friday night’s  schedule has: Jasper at Center; Joaquin at Harleton; Big Sandy at Timpson; San Augustine at Cushing; Shelbyville at Alto; Tenaha at Sabine Pass; Union Grove at Garrison; Nacogdoches at Lindale; and Conroe at Lufkin.

Center Broadcasting will have coverage of the Center-Jasper game on KDET; while the Shelby County Game of the Week has Shelbyville at Alto on Q-100, KQBB FM. Both games will also be streaming at cbc-radio.com.

Center, Joaquin, Timpson, Tenaha, San Augustine, and Garrison have all sewed up playoff spots. Shelbyville will need to win to have a chance at post-season.

Senior Night for Center High School will be tomorrow night. The senior representatives on the football team, cheerleader squad and Chaparral’s will be recognized at 6:40 during pre-game. Band and twirler seniors will be recognized at half time.

Timpson ISD is holding their annual Pink Out Game tomorrow night. The school district’s hoping to fill the stadium PINK! The school district is asking that everyone wear pink to the game. There are t-shirts from last year’s game that are available for sale. They are $10.00 each. If you are interested in purchasing one, contact the Middle School Office @ (936) 254-2078 ext. 2200. At half time there will be a balloon release in honor of those who have loved ones that have survived or lost the battle with breast cancer.
