Chireno High School principal Daniel Johnson was selected recently as a Texas Association of Secondary School Principals award winner. The 43-year old was named the organization's principal of the year from 17 counties in Region 7.  Johnson has been with the Chireno ISD since 2007, originally coming to the district to teach business and technology. He also serves as Chireno Junior High Principal.
