This week’s high school football schedule has Center at Fairfield; Garrison at San Augustine; West Sabine at Tenaha in the Hall of Honor game; Burkeville at Joaquin; Shelbyville at Groveton; Logansport at Manny; and Timpson is open.

Center Broadcasting will have the Center-Fairfield action on KDET beginning with the Roughrider Pre-Game Show at 7 as Rob Payne, Chris Watlington and team describe the action. The Shelby County Game of the Week will feature Burkeville at Joaquin with Don Wall handling the play-by-play starting at 7:20 on Q100, KQBB. You're reminded that both games will also stream online at cbc-radio.com.

The Center Middle School Roughriders will travel to Price-Carlisle on Thursday. 8th grade teams will not be playing; 7th grade A & B teams will be the only participants. The first game will start at 4:30 p.m. 

Opening day of Shelby County Youth Football will be this Saturday, September 22, in Center. The first teams will kick-off the day beginning at 8am with Flag (5yr) Timpson vs Center, and Tackle 8-9 Shelbyville vs Center Purple. Come out and support the youth of Shelby County.
