Constables have been teaming up to track down those responsible for numerous burglaries in the Timpson area in the past couple of months.  The City of Timpson Sewer treatment plant  was the target of three burglaries during July and August.  The thieves were looking to steal the transformers and then sell the copper from within.  In late august, there were two burglaries on both sides of FM 1645 in Stanley Burgay, Precinct 5 Constable’s, area and there were two that were in Zack Warr, Precinct 1 Constable’s, territory. Vandalism has also been a recent issue in the area and law enforcement is seeking those responsible.  However, thanks to combined efforts, most the cases have resulted in felony charges for the suspects involved.  Constable Burgay has encouraged citizens in the community to try and keep a watchful eye out for anyone that might be suspicious in their area.
