On the 13th of October 2018 at approx. 10:38 AM Officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 2209 Pearl Street. 

 

Officers arrived and found a victim with a stab wound outside of the residence.  Officers were able to secure the scene quickly and arrested Milanikii Ybarra for Aggravated Assault. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital by ambulance. 

 

Ybarra and the victim were in a verbal argument when she produced a knife and stabbed him in the stomach.  The victim identified as 25-year-old Donte Deandre Broussard of Nacogdoches died last night at Memorial Hospital due to the wounds he received from being stabbed.
