Dave Campbell’s high school football rankings

Dave Campbell’s high school football rankings are out and several area teams are receiving state recognition. In Class 3A, Carthage has climbed to No. 3, and Henderson is 13th. LaMarque holds onto the No. 1 position in 3A after two weeks into the season. In Class 2A Division I, Cameron-Yoe is still No. 1 in the state, while Tatum is No. 2 and Newton No. 3.  Meanwhile, in Class 2A Division II, Garrison dropped to No. 10, Arp is ranked 5th, and Refugio remains the top team in the division. In Class 1A Division I, the Joaquin Rams have cracked the Top 10, and are ranked No. 8 this week, while the San Augustine Wolves are No. 7 again, West Sabine is 9th, and Price Carlisle is No. 10. Mason is No. 1 in 1A Division I. In Class 1A Division II,Tenaha inches up to No. 9, and Mount Enterprise is up to No. 6. Munday is the top team in 1A Division II. In Class 5A, Dallas Skyline is No. 1, and in Class 4A, Leander is the new No. 1 team.
