Luis Alberto Ruiz was located September 19, 2018, in Georgetown and arrested by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. His arrest was made possible by tips from the community which led Williamson County officers to his location. Ruiz was arrested at 3:42 a.m. and taken into custody without incident. He will be transported to Shelby County where he will face felony charges for FTA OC: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender; FTA OC: Failure to Comply with Registration Requirements; FTA: Sexual Assault of a Child; and Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.
