Neighboring districts send support to CHS following student tragedy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
The San Augustine High School Student Council sent their support to Center ISD this morning following the loss of a student. The group sent a poster and card to the senior class and wore yellow in solidarity.
 
 
 
 
 
 
“On behalf of the Center High School students and staff,” Principal Matthew Gregory said, “I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the support shown by so many in this difficult time as we mourn the loss of one of our students.”
 
 
 
Chireno Independent School District sent flowers which are on display in the front office, and students at Garrison High School pinned yellow ribbons on each guest entering the volleyball game Tuesday night.
 
 
 
“I am really amazed to see other people appreciate Emily even though they didn’t know her,” senior Miriam Almaguer said. “Seeing other people care about her makes the environment feel better. Having support everywhere makes you feel like you’re not alone.”
