Mae Alice (Parrish) Burns, 81, of Houston, passed away Monday in Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be tomorrow from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Restland Cemetery in Tenaha.

Judge Jack Pierce, 84, longtime district judge in the East Texas area, passed away on Thursday. Visitation will be at the Nacogdoches County Courthouse on tomorrow from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the 145th District Courtroom. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Nacogdoches. Services are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.

Lizzie Berry 83, of San Augustine passed away Friday at Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin. Visitation will be tomorrow from 12:30 p.m. Until 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Mortuary. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Dena Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mount Dena Cemetery.

Willie James Grisby Jr., 58, of Center passed away Saturday night at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
