Many of you may have already seen or heard about the San Augustine County Burn Ban Declaration that was made on Tuesday the 28th of August. 

 

Although the last couple of days have seen Thunder and lightning, Little or No rain of consequence has fallen.  This has caused the Forest Service to have raised the Fire Danger Warning for San Augustine Country to the level that requires this protective action.
