13th Annual Jasper Air Show will be Sat, Sep 29th & Sun, Sep 30th
 
JASPER, TX – The 13th Annual Jasper Air Show & Fly In will be held on Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th at the Jasper County Bell Field Airport on Highway 190 West in Jasper.
 
This year’s air show will feature more aerobatic acts than in previous years, including world renowned aerobatic pilot Skip Stewart.  As always, the show will feature World War II aircraft, including the B-17 Bomber Texas Raiders and also the Japanese bombers known as Tora Tora Tora.
 
Air show visitors can take a flight in the World War II B-17 Bomber for a $475.00 contribution to the Commemorative Air Force, and also can tour the airplane. Call Air Show Director Debbie Foster for details at 409-384-2626.
 
Festival foods, Mooney Fun Jumps, remote control planes, face painting, and the “EAA Chapter 1356” from Leesville, La., will fly children 8 – 17 years of age on their first plane ride on Saturday and Sunday morning around 9:00 a.m. weather permitting.
Arm bands are available at the gates: Adults 18 & up - $15.00, Ages 4 -12 $5.00, and 3 and under are Free, and military $10.00.
 
Numerous aircraft will be both on display and flying, and visitors can visit many aviation related vendors and displays, along with plenty of food and drink options to be enjoyed at the 13th Annual Jasper Air Show, Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th at the Jasper County Bell Field Airport on Highway 190 West in Jasper. Gates open both days at 9:00 a.m. for Static Display. The show starts at 12 noon on Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets, sun shades and sunscreen.

Tickets (arm bands)
$15 for ages 13 and up, $5 for ages 4-12, FREE for children 3 and younger, Parking is FREE

9:00am - Gates open
9:00am to 11:30am - Static display of aircraft and EAA Young Eagles FREE flights for children ages 8-17 (Parent must sign a waiver)
12:00pm - Aerial portion of the air show begins
Sunday, September 30th
9:00am - Gates open
9:00am to 12:30pm - Static display of aircraft and EAA Young Eagles FREE flights for children ages 8-17 (Parent must sign a waiver)
1:00pm - Aerial portion of the air show begins
Prohibited Items
Due to FAA and DOT Regulations: Ice Chests, Large Bags, Back packs, Containers, Animals or Pets will not be allowed on Airport Grounds

Friday - Field closed 3:00pm to 5:00pm for Pilot Practice and Press Flights. 
Saturday - Field closes at 11:30am and reopens at end of Air Show or 4:30pm.
Sunday  - Field closes at 12:30pm and reopens at end of Air Show or 5:30pm.
