Jasper Air Show

 

 

The 13th Jasper Air Show & Fly-In will be held on Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th at the Jasper County Bell Field Airport, on Highway 190 West in Jasper, Texas.
 
Coming back to the show this year the Texas Raiders “B-17” from the Commemorative Air Force WWII B-17 from Conroe, Texas, World Renown Skip Stewart will be flying his spectacular routine in the “Prometheus”, Stan Musick – FT-ID Corsair, Kyle Franklin - Cub Comedy Act and Dracula Act, Jeremy Holt -Pitts Pegasus, Spanky Galloway – Extra, Randy Henderson – Stearman, and the Tora planes from the Commemorative Air Force will end the show with a re-enactment of the World War II Bombing run.
 
A one in a lifetime thrill is to ride in the B-17 and the crew will be offering plane rides at a cost of $475.00 in the Center-section, $700 in the Navigation section, and $850 in the Bombardier section. The Re-Max Sky Diving team, led by Al Saylor will open up the show with their multi-jumper parachutes and during the show.
 
The Texas Fallen of Jasper, Texas will provide the Color Guard for the event.
 
There will be lots of food vendors with delicious food items, so come hungry. Mooney Fun Jumps will be on location for the children with slides and jumpies.     
 
Gates open at 9:00 a.m. for static display on both days. 
 
Armbands are available at KJAS Radio in advance and at the gate: 
 
Prices are: Ages 13 and up- $15.00, ages 4 – 12 - $5.00, and children 3 and under are FREE!
 
The EAA Chapter 1356 of Leesville, LA will provide free "Young Eagles" rides for children ages 8 -17. 
 
Due to FAA and DOT Regulations: Ice Chests, Large Bags, Backpacks, Containers, Animals or Pets will not be allowed on Airport Grounds
