Sabine-Angelina Resource Advisory Committee to meet

 

 

 
The Sabine-Angelina Resource Advisory Committee will discuss, recommend and approve new Title II projects and collaborate upcoming stewardship projects and future restoration projects at its meeting June 19 at the Sabine National Forest Ranger’s Office in Hemphill.
 
The purpose of the committee is to improve collaborative relationships and to provide advice and recommendations to the U.S. Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act.
 
The meeting will begin June 19 at 3 p.m. at the Sabine National Forest Ranger’s Office, 5050 State Hwy 21 East, Hemphill, TX 75948.
 
The meeting is open to the public. The agenda will include time for people to make oral statements of three minutes or less. Individuals wishing to make an oral statement should request in writing by June 8, to be scheduled on the agenda.  Anyone who would like to bring related matters to the attention of the committee may file written statements with the committee staff before or after the meeting.
