Shelby County JP Pct 4 Jenny Hicks was investigated by the Texas Rangers. DPS media relations officer David Hendry released the following statement when questioned about the case.
"At the request of the Shelby County District Attorney, the Texas Rangers (DPS) investigated the alleged misconduct and submitted their findings to the District Attorney for review. This investigation remains open and additional information is not available at this time.
(An investigation by the Texas Rangers does not presume wrongdoing.)"
