“Officials with the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, Sabine National Forest, have advised a prescribed burn located in Compartments 36 & 45, 1830  acres (Block A& B)  in Shelby County.  This area is located in Goober Hill Community off forest service road 125 and 126.  Please use caution and turn your lights on.

Winds will be Southeast and South @ 4 mph gusting to 8 mph.

 

 

 

Ignition time of 1000 and completion estimated at 1730 with helicopter assistant.
