DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office held an official public swearing in ceremony for Sheriff Jayson Richardson on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.  The event was open to the public and took place at the DeSoto Parish Courthouse among many friends, family, and co-workers.  Sheriff Richardson also took this time to swear in his staff, which was immediately followed by cake and refreshments at the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office.  We would like to thank everyone who came out to show their support for the Sheriff's Office as we continue to serve the citizens of DeSoto Parish.
