The Shelby County Commissioners' Court met today 3-21-18 at 9:30 a.m. and took the following actions:

 

1.They approved and paid weekly expenses.

 

2. They approved current payroll.

 

3. They recognized the Certificate of Compliance from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards for Shelby County.

 

4. They discuss and took action to disburse the Child Safety Fee funds. The Shelby County Advocacy Center gets 65% and Casa of Deep East Texas gets 35% of the funds.  

 

5. They discussed and took no action regarding the Inter-local Agreement with the City of Center regarding the Radio Building, they discussed moving their radio equipment to another tower. 

 

6. They opened current bids for the remodeling the bottom floor of the Shelby County Annex building and chose W&B Contractors to remodel for $22,000.

 

7. They tabled the motion to accept or reject Road & Bridge Pct. 4 for a new Maintainer. 

 

8.  Lastly the court adjourned.
