Center, Texas - The felony trial of Dawn Bradshaw Collins is currently underway at the Shelby County Courthouse.

Collins was indicted on February 23, 2016 of the first degree felony charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than six years of age. Because of the age of the victim, the charge has an enhanced punishment of a minimum of twenty-five years imprisonment. The offense is alleged to have occurred on or about July 9, 2015.

Collins is represented by Nacogdoches attorney, Clay D. Thomas. District Attorney, Stephen Shires is representing the people. District Judge LeAnn Rafferty, presiding.
