This week will see cooler evenings ahead....some mid 40's during the evening hours and lots of East & North winds although not strong, they will still make it feel cooler at times. Daytime highs in the mid 60's.
 
 
 
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday morning.             
 
There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms on Tuesday and a slight risk of severe thunderstorms on Wednesday.
 
 
Timing and Overview:
 
 
 
Strong 13-15 mph South winds ahead of the next fronts. Showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall will increase in coverage on Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday evening with a second round of heavy rainfall on Wednesday night. Additionally, there is a threat of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds and tornadoes during the afternoon and evening hours of Tuesday and Wednesday, mainly along and north of interstate 20.  
 
 
Four State Impacts:
 
Expected Accumulations:  Around two to three inches of rainfall may be possible mainly along and north of interstate 20.
 
Impacts: Because of swollen rivers and lakes from previous rainfall, two to three inches of heavy rain will add to the ongoing river flood situation. Additionally, due to saturated soils, flash flooding will be likely.
