Here is the current weather in San Augustine:

 

At 12:05 am reading the temperature was 17.5 degrees

 

At 6:30 am the reading was 12.2 degrees

 

Wind chill was 3.8 degrees with winds beginning to increase from the North at 8 mph by 7 am

until 4 pm when it calms down.

 

That means it will feel like it is below freezing even with the temperature expected to be in the  36-37 degree range with sunny skies

 

Tonight and Thursday am will see another hard freeze at about 14 degrees according to the NWS in Shreveport with a high of 46 (graphic below)

 

 

 

A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect across the entire Four-State Region valid from 9 pm CST this evening through 9 am Thursday morning.
