Drought conditions are expanding rapidly with all the winds, dry air, and lack of rain. Most is to our NorthEast portion of Texas, SE OKLA, North LA, and most of Ark as reflected in the graphic below. 

 

We remain in the Moderate condition while Shelby County to our North is now in Severe Drought Condition. We are lucky in that we have had some small amounts of rain even though we are almost 5 inches behind for the year.
