One final tune-up before the start of the high school football season, and all local teams are involved in scrimmage action this week. Three teams will have controlled scrimmages tonight. The San Augustine Wolves are home to play Troup at 6; the Tenaha Tigers are in Lovelady at 6 tonight, and the Joaquin Rams will be in a three way scrimmage with Elysian Fields and White Oak at 5 Tonight in Elysian Fields. Friday night's scrimmages include: the Center Roughriders at home to take on Brook Hill; the Shelbyville Dragons will be in Hemphill, as they're involved in a three-way scrimmage with Hemphill and Colmesneil; the Timpson Bears go to West Sabine; and the DeSoto Parish Jamboree is tomorrow night in Mansfield where the Logansport Tigers will have their final scrimmage of the preseason.
