It’s now time for the Center Broadcasting Community Spotlight of the week. This Week’s Community Spotlight will be shedding light on a man who has impacted the lives of students through the Science of Teaching. From Center Independent School District Administration Office, we would like to highlight Deputy Superintendent of Schools - Rayford Copelin. Copelin graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology and then later obtained his Masters Degree in Mid Management. Copelin has been an Educator in Shelby County for a total of 35 years. 19 were spent in Timpson as a Science Teacher at the High School and then as an Administrator. Copelin eventually transferred to Center ISD, where he has been the Deputy Superintendent for 16 years.
