Community Spotlight of the Week

It’s now time for the Center Broadcasting Community Spotlight of the week.  This Week’s Community Spotlight will be shedding light on a man who desires to impact the lives of students both on and off the field.  From Center High School, we would like to highlight Head Coach Kevin Goodwin.  Goodwin is a 1992 graduate of Center High School.  Goodwin moved on to Stephen F. Austin University where he was a three-time All-Southland Conference receiver.  Goodwin also helped lead SFA to the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs in 1993 and the Division I-AA semifinals in 1995.  Goodwin graduated from SFA in 1997 with a bachelor's in kinesiology.  Goodwin has coached and mentored students at Killeen Ellison High School, Texas A&M University at Commerce, Stephen F. Austin University, Central Arkansas University, Coppell High School, Anahuac High School and West Orange-Stark High School.  Coach Goodwin received his Master's degree from Texas A&M at Commerce in 2000.  On February 24, 2009 Kevin Goodwin was hired on as the Head Football Coach for the Center Roughriders.  With 16 years of coaching under his belt, Coach Goodwin has seen much success and had the opportunity to touch many lives.  Without hesitation, Coach Goodwin attributes all of his success in life and on the football field to his faith in God.  We want to thank Coach Kevin Goodwin and his team for all of their hard work.
