Harvey is getting caught between 2 High pressure systems. One to the WEST
over Colorado and the other has formed in the mid Gulf area. The net effect
is to further confuse the flow of Harvey and create even larger scale
issues across Texas.
- Stalemates movement
- Allows it to move and cause problems further inland
- Allow for the real possibility of Harvey turning back over the open
Gulf waters.
- It is still anticipated to become a CAT 3.
- Harvey is located currently about 50+ miles offshore and still moving
to the NNW at 5 miles per hour
