According to Texas DPS officials at approximately 1:24 yesterday John Michael Joe Lee 36 of Stonewall, LA was traveling southbound on Highway 96 South.  

 

 

He was in a 2013 White Freight-Liner pulling a 2010 black Galley Trailer when it left the right side of the roadway and overturned just inside of San Augustine County near the Shelby County, San Augustine County line.  Major damage was cause to both the truck and trailer.

 

Mr. Lee was taken by a San Augustine ambulance to the Nacogdoches Emergency Center in Center where he was life-flighted to Tyler for his injuries. The wreck did not involve any other vehicles. He was later issued a citation for failure to maintain a single lane.
