Weather Update

Looking at the weather maps and the positioning of the HIGHS and upper air
LOW disturbances, I am seeing a trend the last couple of days where these
lows moving down from Alaska along the Western portions of the US seem to
be driving the Highs to the North and East. With the Gulf winds carrying
lots of moisture, I can see where they will bring some T-storms to our area
and some light rain possibilities to us in the next several days. At this
time, I do not see any severe stuff developing. My observation of the areas
of rain moving in our general direction over the Arizona//New Mexico are
widely scattered and moving very slowly so the next 7 days could give us a
gentle soaking of 1+ inches. In fact, i just counted 50 drops the size of
quarters. tomorrow late and Thursday is when the event begins.

What will come along with the cloud cover and rain is temperatures in the
upper 80's, low 70's in the evenings, and NO THI in the 100's.

Our winds will be light and very variable in direction at 6-8 mph. our July
rain count from my last view did not change more that .01 hundredth of an
inch.
