Power slowly returned to the ArkLaTex customers Monday, hours after summer storms felled trees, downed power lines and left various other damage throughout northwest Louisiana and East Texas.  Shortly after 4 p.m. just about 1,500 SWEPCO customers in the ArkLaTex remained without power. About 1,145 of the outages are in Caddo Parish, while Bossier Parish has 258 customer outages remaining. Just 113 DeSoto Parish customers were without power, according to SWEPCO's outage map.  Damage from the storm was concentrated in the Shreveport area.  SWEPCO crews began working on the outages early Monday morning and hope to have everyone restored this morning.
