Early Friday morning, Firefighters from both the Center Fire Department, Volunteers, along with the the forestry service were dispatched to the scene of a forest fire off of CR 1490 between Timpson and Center. While crews were still fighting the forest fire, Center Fire Fighters were alerted of another fire off of US 96 North approximately 2.5 miles out of Center.  The business structure fire was located at a Moccasin Manufacturing business.  Crews were able to extinguish the flames quick enough to limit the damage to only the attic.
