59th Anniversary of the Armistice that ended the Korean War

If  you are a veteran of the Korean War, Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904 and the Ladies Auxiliary would like your participation in the laying of a Memorial Wreath. Friday July 27th 2012 marks the 59th Anniversary of the Armistice that ended the Korean War. A ceremony will take place at the Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the Historic Court House in Center at 10:00 am on July 27th. A Memorial Wreath will be placed and TAPs sounded in honor of the 33,686 killed in action and those who served and have since passed. The 7,953 still missing in action from that war will also be remembered.
