Wreck on Shelbyville Street in Center

 

This Morning at approximately 8:58 a.m the Center Fire Department, Center Police Department, and Ace EMS responded to a wreck on Shelbyville St. in Center Texas.  The driver of a silver passenger car ran off the road taking out a column at the Bark Boutique, and crashing through a telephone pole obliterating it.

 

The vehicle loss one of its front wheels and finaly came to rest after taking out a 30 mile per hour speed limit sign.  Emergency personnel quickly responded to the scene.  Ace EMS transported the driver with unknown injuries.  The Center Fire department and police departments blockaded the area.  

 

The vehicle began leaking fluids and the Firemen applied a chemical dust to prevent them from spreading.  The wrecker service arrived to tow away the vehicle and after picking up the larger pieces and hooking up the car the tow truck left the scene.  

 

According to the Center Fire Department traffic resumed at approximately 10:15 a.m. The idenity of the driver and his condition has yet to be officially released.
