ANGELINA COUNTY, TX-On October 1, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Texas

Department of Public Safety troopers investigated a one vehicle major crash on

FM 326.

 

hThe driver of the vehicle was transported to a Houston Hospital and later died from

injuries sustained in the motor vehicle crash.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates a 1992 Ford SUV was traveling

North on FM 326 when the vehicle left the road to the right. The driver

overcorrected and the vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 50-year-old Linda Maness from Lufkin,

TX. Maness was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston and was

pronounced deceased on October 2 at approximately 2:24 p.m.

This crash remains under investigation.
