THS Homecoming – The Timpson High School 2016 Homecoming schedule will include a new time for the homecoming parade and pep rally. 

 

Homecoming Parade – Thurs. Oct. 6 @ 6:00 p.m. on the Timpson Square

Homecoming Pep Rally – Thurs. Oct. 6 immediately following the parade on the Timpson Square

Presentation of Homecoming Court - Friday Oct. 7 @ 6:30 p.m. on the football field or in case of rain, THS auditorium

Kick-off Homecoming game – Friday October 7 @ 7:00 p.m. – Timpson Bears vs. Wortham Bulldogs

 

Elementary Night – Last week’s Friday night football game against Lovelady was designated as Timpson Elementary School night.

·       Elementary age students got free admission to the game 

·       Cheer camp girls that participated in the summer camp cheered on the field with high school cheerleaders

·       Elementary students playing league football wore their jerseys and ran through the tunnel with the varsity players at the beginning of the game

·       Band students in fifth grade sat beside the band during the first quarter

The TES staff appreciates everyone who supports and encourages our youngest Bears! 

 

THS Band Fundraiser Reminder - Please see the attached flyer for details about the upcoming Timpson High School Band fundraiser—A BAKED POTATO LUNCH-- sold at the Timpson Volunteer Fire Hall on Saturday, October 1 beginning at 11:00 a.m.

 

 

 

TISD See You At The Pole - Timpson ISD students, staff faculty and community members gathered Wednesday Sept.28 around the flag pole for See You At The Pole sponsored by the THS Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After a devotional those in attendance gathered in a circle to pray for our school, community, nation and each other.

 

Lady Bear News -  The Lady Bears spent their open date watching the Panola JC Volleyball vs. Blinn JC. The Lady Bears host district opponent Shelbyville at home today, Friday starting at 4:30 p.m.
