Panola College is pleased to announce the employment of Mr. Troy Caserta as

Vice President of Fiscal Services.

 

 

As the College’s newest VP, Caserta’s responsibilities are many and vary

from advising the College President on matters of College finance and

business management to preparation of the annual operating budget and

making recommendations on improvements to the physical plant.

 

Dr. Greg Powell stated, "We are pleased to have an experienced college

Chief Financial Officer join our leadership team. I believe that Mr.

Caserta will bring us knowledge and the benefit of having worked in two

other states in higher education."

 

Caserta brings to Panola College more than 12 years of experience working

in higher education.  Most recently, he spent the past six years at

Louisiana Delta Community College in Monroe, LA as Vice Chancellor of

Finance & Administration.

 

Caserta holds an Associate Degree in Interpreting for the Deaf from Tarrant

County College in Ft. Worth.  His Bachelor's and Master's degrees are in

accounting from Southern Utah University.  He is also a Certified Public

Accountant (CPA).

 

Caserta’s wife and four daughters are looking forward to relocating to

Panola County.

 

“I’m grateful for the opportunity afforded me and my family. I’m excited to

make a positive contribution to the fiscal and physical operations of the

College,” stated Caserta. “Panola College is such a wonderful institution.

In the short time I’ve been here, I’ve enjoyed observing how close the

community is to the College. I look forward to building a life here with my

family and serving the College.”
