Angelina County, TX- On July 19, 2016, at approximately 11a.m., Angelina

County DPS troopers responded to and investigated a crash involving multiple

vehicles on SH 103 West at Joshua Lane.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates a 2013 Ford passenger car was

stopped on SH 103 waiting to turn left onto Joshua Lane when it was struck from

behind by a 2006 Dodge pick-up towing a livestock trailer. After the initial

collision, both vehicles crossed the eastbound lanes of SH 103 into oncoming

traffic. The Dodge truck and trailer were then struck by an eastbound 2003 Mack

dump truck. As a result of this impact, a tire from the Dodge’s trailer broke away

and struck a 2011 Chevrolet truck.

The driver of the Ford passenger car was identified as Ashli Baldridge, 32, from

Lufkin. Baldridge and her small child were transported to CHI St. Luke’s in Lufkin

for possible treatment for her child. The driver of the Mack truck was identified as

Elizabeth Albro, 51, from Livingston. Albro was also transported to CHI St.

Luke’s for possible treatment. The driver of the Dodge pickup was identified as

Cody Lane Wright, 21, from Lufkin. Wright was transporting a horse that did not

survive the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet that was struck by the trailer tire was

identified as Eric Brevard, 34, from Lufkin. Neither Wright nor Brevard were

reported as being injured.
